Pace of Introductions. This is my current quandary.
In a Cozy Mystery, how quickly should all the suspects be met? How do you avoid the dreaded “character dump”? (Throwing up all your players at the feet of your readers is, well, unseemly.)
So, what is the formula to avoid that?
A simple equation would suffice.
I’ll expect it on my desk this afternoon.
