Deserving Anxiety

When you’re known for freaking out over the nonsensical, what happens when you freak out over the sensical?

A shrug.

A pat on the head.

A roll of the eyes when they think I’m not looking.

It’s not done with a mean spirit. I imagine, it’s a coping skill when you deal with a nut on a daily basis. But even nuts are confronted with “real” people problems. Some issues deserve anxiety.

So, please, remember: While your condescension may not be intentional, it stings at the very worst of times.
