
Divide and conquer.
Tacticians, young and old, hail this strategy as the core of any successful battleplan. Break the enemy up into little bits and squash those bite-sized bits one by one.
Cool.
Really.
But what the heck are you supposed to do when the enemy is yourself?
Mental illness, unfortunately, is not just mental.
It recruits the whole body to do its dirty work. Stomach, bones, skin, heart, intestines, reproductive facilities are all part of the crazy party.
How do you divide and conquer that? (Preferably without the use of power tools or clotting agents, please.)
