Wrong Call

A ‘cry for attention’?

An anxiety attack is not a “Look at me! Look at me!” moment.

I had one last night and the VERY last thing I wanted was anybody’s eyes on freaky little me.

No, dear spectators, flare ups of chronic anxiety are not vain attempts for a spotlight. They are ugly, hateful things that makes us burn with embarrassment and ache in self-hatred.

They are not cries for attention.

They are cries.

Until tomorrow…
